Mrs Crossett Visits Malawi

9/5/2015

Picture
Mrs Crossett travelled to Malawi in September 2014 with a group from her church to work with children at Ballykajoni orphanage. Whilst she was there she also visited Livingstonia Primary School.  As these photographs show the classrooms in Malawi are very different from the classrooms in Kilross. Some of the classrooms had up to 96 pupils with very little resources.  Primary education in Malawi is free however parents have to pay for secondary education and therefore many of the children do not receive an education as their parents cannot afford it.
