Sports available in the school:

Football
Athletics
Gymnastics
Dance
Netball
Rounders
Swimming

A Sports Day is held near the end of the summer term.  The children are divided into 4 houses: Red, Blue, Yellow and Green.  The Evans' Shield is awarded to the house with the most points at the end of the day. 
Other cups, medals and certificates are awarded to children taking part.

Sports Day 2017

Sports Day this year was held in Meadowbank Sports Arena, Magherafelt and was attended by many parents and family members.

Football & Hockey 2015

The girls displaying their new hockey kit  before heading off to the hockey tournament June 2015.

Cluster Cup Winners 2014!

Also at the Cluster Cup the hockey shield was won by Bellaghy Primary School.  The team from Kilross played well but were unsuccessful this year.  Everyone had an enjoyable morning.  Thanks to Mrs Hogg, Mrs Beattie and parents who helped with the transport.

P7 Cycling Proficiency

Children in P7 have recently completed their cycling proficiency on a Thursday afternoon. The children were instructed on how to ride their bicycles safely on the road and were taught theory.

P6 and P7 Swimming

The P6 and P7 class attend their swimming lesson in Meadowbank Leisure Centre, Magherafelt each Monday.
